Don't have my exact early bets yet, but I might as well post a few that I KNOW I will be on one way or another in the early races.

First race: I got the 3,4, and 10 rated as the top three picks. FOR SURE, I'll be doing something with the no. 3 which happens to be the highest odds of the three. Gotta see the other two before deciding how/if I'll play them.

2nd race: top two picks are the 5 and the 8. I AM gonna get some of the no. 6 (10-1 M.L.) hoss fosho. Unpopular (deservedly so) rider will help keep the betting down on this one which should produce even better odds than his M.L. IF (BIG "IF") this one has something left for the stretch run - LOOKOUT chalkers.
I think the exacta factas in this race are the 5,8,10,11.

That's it for now.

Alirght, I see that Hammy's here. Right on schedule.

Good luck today whatever track you'll be playing. I've been hanging in there at A.C. but can't wait to get back to good ole Philly.

Looks like I'm in trouble already today, Hammy. That big A.C. track "handicapper" that can't pick his nose picked exactly the same horses I did in the first race. Dang!

Hamster, thems all look like dirt bombs in this 2nd wace :(

Unfortunately, the fav. looks to have the least amount of dirt. That would be the no. 5. Even though the no. 10 looked just as bad as the others, add him to the picks, Hammy. Still 3 mins. to post.

BTW, I didn't play the DD, rarely do. The good news is that I DID cash Win, Place, and zactas on both waces.

Time to keep an eye on where the exit sign is to this place cause LUCK only lasts for so long at this place.

Mo stuff

Mo stuff

There ya go.. .. all wimpy bettors were wieners in this race.

ONLY unload on "10 rated L@@KERS" which is exactly what I plan on doing ever since I watched my last "10 rated LOOKER" win at 20+ to 1 the last time I saw one and I got to cash my $2 ticket on him. I don't keep tract of them but I KNOW that most (heck, even more than "most") win. Next one will have $50 on him and IF he losess the next one will also have $50 on him and maybe even more if it's odds are higher than 20-1.

There is a chance that one may show up in one of the Triple Crown waces. Remember that "OTHER" BIRD hoss (think it's name was Summer Bird, NOT the BIRD that won the Derby)... .. Summer was a "10". I posted that one in my old forum.. wrote, "the OTHER BIRD looks like a "10 rated L@@KER, Homies".

I'll be looking for your picks in the BIG races, Hammy. I believe it was you who posted a nice winning zotic (Zuppa?) in one of them races. Do it AGAIN this year.

No. 7 Showed.

I don't see anything till the late race.. hey, WTF? SEVEN waces today?

I'm gonna work on the 7th, looks like there may be a trace of useful info. in the PPs for that race.

Chime in if you're interested cause it does take me awhile to get out the ole microscope and I'd like to get something posted with more time left till post. Takes time to see if there's something that looks interesting between the lines.

IF you're doing good at "your" track.. STAY THERE cause this place is tough, tough, tough.

Hadda get one more VIEW on this thread to make it an even 200. :)

Just got on and it LOOKS like another quick start for my picks today. LOOKS, that is.

No play in the first race, exactas in the 2nd race and I picked the dang thangs TOO GOOD. Play was 4,10 top/bot 7,12. And what comes in....

U got it.... 10-4-1 UGH! NO, I didn't have it (exacta that is). Even that "coolman" announcer added salt to the wound by calling the no. 4 (7-1) the winnah which woulda been better for me cause I had Win bets on the 4 and the 10 (2-1). NOT the dang exacta though, SOB.

Don't know what the Viewers are reading? Thinking they are looking for Derby and are smart enough to JUST READ about A.C. Can't believe I got LUCKY enough to pick a cold exacta with the little related information a handicapper has to go on with this track that has UNfamiliar hosses (mostly), trainers, and owners and even some of the jockeys.

I'll be back, in this thread, with my results for today and IF any of the mystery guest ARE interested in A.C. let me know.

BTW, third race is a "No Play".

Good luck with the Derby.

The play in this 4th race is no. 4, "Hello". .. BUT, you cannot ignore the fact that Servis is sending out BOTH of his entrees (1 and 1A) in this race. EACH have the kind of jockeys you want on your horse and the odds are very attractive.

Went a little (actually, a LOT) overboard on the 1's, W/Pl/Sh @2x. Was gonna go for even more, but didnt' cause both had such bad posts. Good thing. Sure was looking good for most of that race.

Also did play the no. 5 is a few exactas... losahs.

Think I may get to post picks AFTER I see the prerace. I'll keep them in this thread so it doesn't distract viewers that are just interested in Derby picks.

GOTTA MENTION THIS!!

That 4th race finished with a 10-1 (top) and 18-1 (bot) zacta. Right?

Now, do you know how much a 10/1 over an 18/1 in an 11 horse field zakta should pay. Say, maybe at Philly??

Can't wait for 5 p.m. comes around today and we git the flock outa here.
