Doesnt matter if he was down. Rules have changed from the 90's.

maybe but absolutely a bogus rule, when he secured it he became a runner, when his right elbow hit play should be dead at that point, no? A runner is immediately down when an elbow hits the ground, either way bummer on my Dallas bets.

Right, the dive for the endzone was the football move, ball moved during it. Incomplete. Right call. Period. And I have Dallas...

ball was secured and came loose when it hit the ground.

ball was not loose in his hand as he dove..

I will watch it 5 more times...

get back to ya

In the 90's yes. But today you have to maintain control throughout the catch. 05' Polomalu rule. Ball hit ground, ball moved, incomplete.

no you don't if you make a football move ..ie dive for the end zone..after the reception and he clearly caught the ball.

they got it wrong..

plain and simple..

again..even w/replay these humans make mistakes..

they made a huge one on that play.

Mike Pereria and I do not think that was a football move.

Refs have to be thinking that the lunge was part of the catch process. I'm not saying its right but thats the rule.

So. Cal
These games and officials are worse than the nba

Since when does clear control 2.5-3 steps, elbow down on tackle and clear football move of reaching for thr en zone constitute an incomplete pass?

It was a catch on thr field
It was a catch on the replay
But
No chance that was going to stand in thst fuking stadium

Pure ridiculous comedy and a joke
