surgery was done,
went to recovery
but had bleeder
so had to go back to surgery
where he is now.

Any update IE?...I know that recovery can take a while especially with second procedure! When possible let us know last report. Everyone thinking of you and your family!!!

He'll remain in ICU for another day as his blood pressure is low and he needs to stay on special medicines for that. He is breathing on his own now (no ventalator). Still drainage coming out of his chest so they are not removing the drainage tubes today .... like we'd hope.. The nurse got him to sit on the edge of the bed for 1 minute.

His blood preasure is very low, but he's okay.
The Dr's / nurses are working hard on pain management. Nurse said that pain is worse in younger people because our nerve endings are more delicate (or something like that). Plus, he has added pain because he had 2 surgeries on the day of the operation (open/close and maneuver around in chest cavity ... twice)! His left arm/hand is very sore, swollen, and COLD because that's 1 area they took the by-pass veins from (also his chest). They didn't take from the leg.

and actually walked 35 yards today.
blood pressure is starting to normalize a bit tonight.

Is always stressful for the family, and once they get out of ICU that is always a big burden lifted :0074
