Love your picks n all the winners. Been lurking n following many of your plays & its been a profitable strategy.

Was wondering though why your POY is ranked #2 on your list and not #1? Either way, I will follow that big play but was curious about that.

My #1 and #2 picks are rated very close to each other within the system that I am using. Both of the top two picks are rated much higher than all the other bowl games this year. I use a system that is 3 parts and math/statistic based. I also use some of my own knowledge on the games as a filter to the system (coaches leaving, key players being out, location, weather, past history of teams in the bowls. I also use another system that is entirely separate that says to take 6-6 teams when they are dogged vs. an opponent that has more wins. The #2 pick also fits into that category of the 6-6 system. Without completely spilling the beans one of the math/stat based systems key factors is defensive points allowed recently. There are 2 other key factors that go into it but I have found over the years that this stat is extremely important when evaluating bowl games. In other words, a vast majority of the time defense trumps offense...I realize it was a bit odd to have the #2 play be the play of the year but it had a slightly lower rating in the math/stat based system which is what I based the rankings off. My bowl sized units are twice what they normally are for other sports...hope this all makes sense, be happy to answer any other questions. Florida St -15 -105 (2*)

don't over think this one, based on my numbers Florida st beats the day lights out of em. Motivation is the obvious question mark in this game but 2 factors come to mind that crush that theory. My wife used to work this bowl game as a liaison athletic trainer so I got some good tid bits over the years. One common factor was how I expected teams to have a let down going to a minor bowl in Shreveport Louisiana. That never happened. The set up for players when the come to Shreveport isn't as bad as you think. They stay at the casinos on the river walk with a multitude of bars within walking distance all over downtown. I believe Florida st will play hard. #2 I think Florida st could play completely half assed and still walk away with this one. There is a major discrepancy with speed and talent. So Miss needs a lot of help to cover this one...gl guys
