The Bellagio Conservatory finally finished the Holiday installation.
my buddy Rocky and his gal played one of their favorite venues last week, Jack's Place in Boulder City. 24 miles easy drive from The Strip.
rather small but fun and packed with enthusiastic music and dance lovers!
and Jack's Place serves a terrific sizzling 3 sausage plate.
Back in Las Vegas, strolling about by Aria, I noticed some mud on the walls of the lobbies at the Veer Towers (those pair of condominium towers which are leaning 5 degrees off center)...this big ass wall art is called "Circle of Chance". Artist Richard Long imported some mud from the river in his hometown of Bristol, England (River Avon) and finger-painted it up the wall.
I finally sat down to a fine burger. This is the burger at Delmonico's in Venetian Casino. They only offer it at lunch. The fine subtle thick! patty is made up of grindings from the 3 main steaks served there - filet, ribeye and sirloin..
Burger is served simply, with just the cheddar cheese and bacon. I did put the tomatoes and onions on it, then mixed up some mustard in the mayo and put that on...real darn good! But costs 4x an In-and-Out burger, and it isn't 4x better. I'd say just under 2x better....Fries are well done too...
The Mob Museum has this Jaguar XKE, formerly owned by John Gotti, on display in the Fashion Show Mall...
this big tusk is just a tip from a Woolly mammoth tusk, beautifully and intricately carved with thousands of miniature warriors by generations of who-knows from China's Ming Dynasty. On display inside Treasure Island Casino, owner Phil Ruffin collects Asian art...
