Congratulations to Ian "Urlacher" Wooden, and his proud old man MadJack

So Jack -- how big is the lad? Is he done growing? Just curious about where he'll fit in to the college scene.

If he was making 12+ tackles per game, he'll probably make All Conference or something, too.

good job Ian......

good job Jack for not suing when he got screwed in little league football....lol -- that probably taught him important lessons about life and how to overcome things even when stuff out of your control screws you over.....

i am sure this has helped lead him to become a better football player and person

you both should be proud and Ian enjoy the award and your accomplishments but keep moving forward and remember what it takes to achieve

Way to go Ian,

Looks like the ol boy works hard and strives to be the best.

Kinda like his dad and this website.

You know, Zack Thomas went to Texas Tech.

Good Luck in the future and make sure you have your dad updating your fans here on the site.

England, u.k.
Jack I know how you feel, words cat describe the emotions that you feel. Certainly a warm glow allover. You are proud as punch of your son Ian.

Ian your achievements are outstanding for one who is so young. Come back next year and lead your fellow deffense men by example, your goals are to better each one of your achievments this year. Some you will, some you wont, but heck, at least you can say you've had another one hell of a season. GREAT JOB :thumb:

Ian dont forget the other school work, you'll need that for college. Once again great achivement.

Hey Jack if it had been I wouldn't have been able to control myself. YOUR ONE PROUD FATHER.

Congratulations to you both.
I'll never what my HS coach said to us as seniors, before our last home game.
These are greatest times of your life, you'll never forget them."
