Looks like he will be named officially on monday at press conference.
Could be a good hire he will have a good recruiting classes and has a solid team to wrk with now. DE is a wesy coast guy who will be able to steal some cali kids from usc and ucla.
Interesting to see what coordinators he hire. I hope he keeps Bill Miller he has doing good things with the defense.
There was a lot of talk of him having character issues but apparently didnt affect the decision.
Stat wise he has done well in the first year with a new program(excluding the pros)
He demands alot from his players so hopefully they can figure out the penelty issues.
look for the devils to be much improved

I am pretty sure DE will drink anything with alcohol but from what I've heard he loves beer.

do you think de can pull some recruits in the next month I know there is a dead period but still some time to mkae some moves.

Saw that kerry taylor 4 star just recommitted.
and nick foles is probably still coming here and he is in the 5a texas state championship , which is pretty impressive to me.

Koetters last class was pretty respectable two.

Hopefully he will get a driver so that he can avoid his 5th and 6th DUIs. Also, needs to get some thugs like he had at Oregon St. and at Miami, It was an impressive Ass Whupping he put on ND in that Fiesta Bowl.

Hey,

That's why they hired em. Tired of playing by the rules and getting whupped by USC every year. This has been an underachieving programs since Frank Kush. Now they can embrace the Thug life and win with Denny!

Is that you crooked crank?

DE is a bigger name than Dirk, and his resume should keep a lot of recruits into staying, in addtion to any recruits he had at Idaho with any talent. I know at scout.com there were a few pretty good OLineman that were thinking of Idaho that might consider ASU now.

Plus, we are keeping a few ASU coaches around which should help.

gmroz- I will save you the time...those players are delusional. I guarantee if 95% of those players on the day before "Signing Day" USC called and said they wanted them and they had a chance to play right away, they would ditch Idaho for USC.

That is no different than what DE did. Did they think they could go to the BCS under DE? They are competeing with Boise State for recruits in Idaho...it's not like the 2nd tier players are like Florida's or Texas.:142smilie

marra looks like we hired rich olson. Dont like that to much his offense at miami was garbage. But im sure de will handle a lot of the play calling duities.

we roll schedule looks favorable also
