But he is 0-3 in the Playoffs when the start of the game temperature is below 40 degrees!

This is an FYI to give some background. :0008

Weather, History Non-Factor For Denver Broncos With Peyton Manning?s New Glove

Chris Humphreys ? US Presswire

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning has an overall record of 0-3 in NFL playoff games when the temperature is below 40 degrees. In those three games, he has only thrown one touchdown compared to seven interceptions. He also suffered a 41-0 blowout loss to the New York Jets in 2003. The other two losses came against the New England Patriots in 2004 and 2005.

What does this mean for the Broncos in Manning?s first game in the playoffs with his new team? Nothing.

Why? Because Manning has a different defense that will complement him very well in the cold weather and the use of his new glove.

Broncos players are already used to the cold weather and playing in the high altitude of Sports Authority Field at Mile High and Manning had a couple of his best games recently since wearing the glove on his throwing hand.

Manning dealt with nerve damage and weakness in his right arm after the surgery, and the glove helps improve his grip on the ball, something that becomes tougher in colder temperatures. Manning?s Broncos are undefeated in his two games with the glove, and he has thrown for 643 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in those contests.

Manning insists that he uses the gloves to help with his injury and not for cold weather, but it has to be helpful when battling cold temperatures.

You are wrong about this being the most hyped game. This is the least-hyped, which is why it is being played when it is. Tonight's game has much more hype.

It's a west coast game, that's why.

postseason schedules are not made, at any point in any part of any season, based on which games are the most "hyped".......almost never in the regular season either, with the exception of the flex ability on the last few weeks sunday night games.
