I read this heartbreaking post just now and was moved to tears. I have 3 and 2 year old boys myself and cannot imagine how much this family is suffering.
Hey guys, I know I don't post much but I am on here everyday and have been a long time member and value all of your information alot. My family needs your prayers, my wife and 2 small children were hit by a drunk driver this past Friday night on the I210 bridge in Lake Charles. All three were sent to LSU medical center in Shreveport that night. My wife Buffy has a fractured pelvis, a hole in her lung, a laciration on her liver, and some other injuries. My 7 year old daughter Kristin had a small bleed in her brain, but has since been given a clean bill of health, and should be out of the hospital on Tuesday. My youngest 5 year old Garrett was not so lucky, he had massive head trauma and the doctors did everything they could do for him but he just could not fight anymore. He pasted away Saturday around 3:30 pm. He was my pride and joy and wanted to be a fireman just like dad. We took them to thier first LSU game this year for the Troy game, yes we stayed till the end, and he fell in love with LSU. Since that time all he talked about was LSU, anything he would see in the store that had LSU on it he would beg us to buy for him. We lost our little man and LSU lost a great future tiger fan this weekend. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, and as Garrett would say GEAUX TIGERS LSU

Like most folks I know, I have driven drunk soooo many times that it's embarrassing. I am going to make an effort to not drive under the influence EVER again.
