I didn't call anyone stupid. I said comparing lebron to guys who played 20 years ago is stupid.

Ty for the lecture though.

As for Tony Parker being a "journeyman" ..........

It wasn't twenty years ago. More like ten or fifteen.

It wasn't a lecture either, for fucks sake. Look, that is my opinion. I am entitled to it and it no more wrong or right than yours other than I was alive to see all those players play live. I have no idea if you ever saw Michael go against the likes of Joe Barry Carrol or see a thunder pull up jumper from Brad Sellers after a sweet dish from Mike, but I have. That makes me correct. I win.

Parker is a player that can and will be readily replaced. There are too many players of his skill level that have come and gone and will come and go again to make him memorable to anyone outside this generation of fans. Do you really think in fifteen years people will be saying, "He's no Tony Parker" when they talk about point guards? No. Once he retires, he will never come up again other than in the San Antonio area. That is the reality. He is a good NBA player. That is my opinion.

1st of all Sellers played on the Bulls in the 80s. He played like 6 seasons, why is he even relevant?

10-15 years ago? That would be MJ's time on the Wizards. Unless you are counting the end of 98 season, his last on the Bulls. So yes, 20 years ago is pretty accurate.

Brad Sellers wouldnt even sit on a modern NBA bench.

You want to live in the past and MJs glory days thats great but the game is and has been moving on without you or anyone else stuck in a time warp obsessing over Michael Jordan.

One of the staples in a team he's been on his whole career, running the show at point, with 3 fucking rings and you have the nerve to call him a journeyman in the same class as Jason Terry.

2013-1998 is 15 all day long chief.

John Paxson did the same thing and could actually shoot so I think I am pretty good with calling him a journeyman. How many rings does Derek Fisher have? It's a team game, even for you experts. I have the nerve to have all kinds of opinions.

Funny how you call me the homer and make a crack about what you thought I would feel about Derrick Rose, yet you are the one acting like you want to have Parker's baby.

I was watching the 4 th Qtr when Manu Ginobili took 3 steps with the basketball, the announcers were complaining that he got fouled, I guess you have to take 4 steps for TRAVELING to be called.

ermmm....I am pretty sure I said 1998.

"That would be MJ's time on the Wizards. Unless you are counting the end of 98 season, his last on the Bulls."

clearly not his prime. His last season on the Bulls and his time on the Wizards was not MJ in his prime. 20 years ago was more his prime.

I didn't say rings make all the difference but when you lead your team to 3 in 5 years and win the finals MVP in one of them, I think you are more than a fucking journeyman in the class of Jason Terry.

holy shit.

and I could care less about the Spurs or Tony Parker, but him being compared to Jason Terry is comical.

What is comical is you trying to defend some of the statements you made. The Bulls won the Championship in 98 and he won MVP so I am going to go ahead and call that PRIME TIME. You didn't have to say rings make all the difference, you inferred it. Close enough for me to point out the folly of that statement. I said he can be in the same conversation as Jason Terry and Jason Kidd for that matter if you want to disregard rings. John Paxson hit the game winning shot in game 6 to win the Bulls a title.

Just because you say it doesn't make it correct brother.

I think Parker is a good player but come on man, Sam Cassell and Kenny Smith did the same shit too.

Journeyman.

Journeyman at best.

Hope this helps,

We both know that I think you are an asshole, so this might not mean much at all. But you are looking like an idiot here. This is another time where you should just disappear for awhile.

Do you have any idea how much better of a poster Airportis is than you? You two aren't in the same class, conversation, hell you aren't even the same species so at what fucking point did you think myself, or anyone for that matter, gives a fuck what you think? You are a greasy little retarded troll that I would beat into a postage stamp if I ever met you so go fuck yourself. Don't you think you have disappointed your parents enough?

We are talking about point guards dumbass, how the fuck can anyone look like an idiot when there is no correct answer to the question? Much like Evolution, sure I believe in it, but fuck, you're here so who the fuck knows for sure. Then again, you kind of kill the argument for "in His own image" too.

Hope that helps,

It sure seems like you care. I love that you think you would beat my ass. I would knock you out and then take a dump on your head.

By the way threats are probably not good business for the website. But when have you really cared about that.

When you think Tony Parker is a journeyman player, you open yourself up to being called an idiot.

Parker on each of his championship teams was 2nd on the team in scoring, and led the team in assists. Tim Duncan was obviously the go to guy on offense but calling Parker a journeyman is along the lines of saying Kobe or Shaq was a journeyman on the Lakers dynasty. One of them surely had to be a journeyman using this logic.

I dont know why you have beaten down the argument to how many years ago was MJs prime but 15 years ago was the end of MJ's career. If you want to count the last year of MJ on the Bulls as "his prime" great. But 20 years ago is certainly closer to his prime than 15.

I am not saying it is true because I am saying it. I am saying it is true because most people with a slight grasp on the game can see that TONY PARKER is not a journeyman player in the same status as players like Jason Terry.

I dont know what game winning shots have to do with anything either. They play an entire game not just the last 3 seconds.

They look pretty comparable to me. I imagine Tony's will go down as he ages or if Duncan leaves.

judging by this awesome logic one could make the comparison to Carmelo Anthony or Dwyane Wade being = to Larry Bird.

Tony Parker is a top 25 point guard of all time.

furthermore, Parker gets to the basket where as Terry is a guy who just looks for a shot from outside. Just look at how often they get to the free throw line. about 10% of Parkers shots come from beyond the line compared to over 30% for Terry.

Parker also led his team to 3 rings. there is a difference between winning a ring on the bench and being a key player orchestrating the championship.

for someone who takes so much pride in reminiscing of how great basketball was when MJ played, I have to question how much of the game you actually watch if you can compare Terry to Parker and consider them equals.
