I am on a diet and have stopped drinking Pepsi's.I'm addicted to pepsi. Have tried every single diet drink that has been made and still can't get that diet after taste out of my mouth....diet zero's,vitamin water, diet dr pepper,7-ups,Mist,etc,etc....I can't find anything that has a sweetner with no after taste... .Anything with splenda or any other sweetner doesn't work.Diet ice teas, waters with lemon,etc...selzter,
Any ideas? My daughter in austin said there is something in texas called coke-a lite....and where would you get it.Its coca cola from mexico....but does it have calories...I have been drinking minute maid lite and grape juice lite...they do have some calories in them but after drinking those two drinks for a few days I'm started to get some after taste...some people say if you drink a diet for a few weeks you get used to the diet taste...no way..I must be to sensitive...any ideas...I have been drinking Lipton Ice tea..powder...just the tea very weak..at least there is no after taste...do drink some water but not a water person...if someone knows of some product let me know..I probably tried it already but will listen....

i really like coke zero, it tastes like real coke to me. But I have heard that a major ingredient in diet drinks and artificial sweeteners like splenda have "aspertame"
I heard it isn't good for you and can lead to allzeimers.

People always tell me Diet Dr. Pepper taste the same as regular, but I never like taste of regular. I started drinking Propel Flavored bottle water to get off the Mountain DEW kick.

Coke Zero is awful - it doesnt taste anything like COke at all to me. I hate diet drinks as a rule but I actually drink Diet Dr Pepper all the time. Only good diet drink I have ever had.

best thing to do is DON'T convert to diet drinks or another substitute. Just drink water. I converted off soft-drinks back in March of last year, and it's helped me to feel so much better. I was drinking sweet tea once a week, but I don't do that anymore either.

Even though a diet coke has no calories, it's still hampers a diet. Believe that!

Best wishes on the diet! I'm doing that myself now too! Moreso trying to eat healthier and get in shape than losing weight although I need to drop about 15.

Box: No matter what your choice, try to stay away from drinks with High Fructose Corn Syrup. That stuff can be in drinks with zero calories, but it is terrible for your metabolism (and, therefore your diet).

Aside from beer/wine (which I drink roughly once every week or two), I have been drinking nothing but water (and soy milk with my coffee) for several weeks. At restaurants I have been going with unsweetened tea with lemon, as I try to avoid the tap water in new orleans......

BTW, it wasn't easy at first, but I have gotten used to it, and am going to stick with it for a while.

if you can`t shake it,try hawaiian punch lite and sierra mist lite....the sierra mist/grapefruit mix has a sort of taste reminiscent of fresca or squirt...

Box, I was a Mtn Dew drinker for about 40 years...switched to Diet Mtn Dew and lost 15 lbs in 2-3 months. I am not a coffee drinker so Dew has always been my caffeine fix. I drink water with every meal but like you, I need something with flavor. And they are right that even the diet drinks cause you to retain things and should drink water. Diet Dr Pepper was mentioned, I do like that one. Diet Lemonade not too bad. It took me into my mid 40s and putting on too many lbs and I hated the diet drinks but you gotta do something and glad I found a couple I like. Good luck in your search!

you just think you need a flavored drink. Really, you don't. It's a psychological urge that u can do without.

If you have to have more taste, you can also try juices. Make sure they are 100% juice and don't have high fructose corn syrup in them. V8 makes some very good products.
