Buy another one. That's what I would do. (Think about it this way - Put $130 service fee toward a new dishwasher....)

I think sears over charges IMO, you might look at another place. and ask them what they would charge etc.

But then again, new appliances can be a good thing

I just replaced mine a few months ago.
If you install it yourself then make sure you get the power cord off the old one or you will have to waste cash buying a new one that you don't need.
I forgot about that when installing and had to go out to the curb and remove the old power cord.
I think it is pretty standard that they don't come with power cords.

I bought a kenmore dishwasher at Sears several years ago, top of the line and paid it off over 6 months interest free:shrug:

if you do not have the manual or the parts diagram you can more than likely find it on the web..

there aren't that many parts on a dishwasher..

http://www.appliancepartspros.com/appliance_dishwasher.aspx

models..parts..

3. Clogged spay arms
There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

Put mine in a few years back and if I remember right all there was to it was connect the water line, drain and 3 electric wires(be sure to shut off at the electrical box!!!). Very simple even for me. Make sure to get good measurements on hieght so you dont have to pull it in and out adjusting. Much like the other dishwasher in the house, the tighter the better:SIB Attach to the cabinets with screws and wash the hell out some dishes.
