for many of the reasons you pointed out, I think Vikes are the way to go here BUT

rookie at right tackle
2nd year player at all imp center position
a suddenly struggling Mckinnie at LT
running game has slowed some
rookie at MLB
not healthy Antoine Winfield at CB

these are matters of concern, no

Rookie at right tackle is the kid out of oky and has been excellent thus far-they drafted him to start -upgrade from last year

the center position ok - 2nd least penalized center and held his own all year

mckinnie had one bad game carolina -because someone said he was tipping off weather it was a pass or rush so he changed his st ance screwed him up- back to his old stance against giants and one of the top 3 left tackles in game

running back-AP- HAD 1400 yards with 50 less carries than last year but caught 43 big jump- balls his problem is 6 lost fumbles - that is a concern

now this brinkly kid hes a issue very good aginst the run-but coverage 10 to 15 yards out hes pathetic -now that a very valid point

unless you know something winfield is 100% they could have brought him back week 10 but his pain would have stayed the rest of the season so they held him out another month and he is playing pain free- now he was not in game shape until week 16 and says he will be able to blitz more and play his normal physical self without wearing down which he did in the second halves weeks 13-15

BRINKLY AND AP FUMBLING ARE BIG CONCERNS
BUT I CONSIDERED BOTH WHEN CAPPN THIS GAME

just fyi on winfield:

Winfield tries to stay a step aheadHis right foot still isn't completely healed, but he'll contribute by playing more in the slot and as a nickel back.

Antoine Winfield said Wednesday that his right foot feels better, but the question now is whether the veteran cornerback feels comfortable enough to play his normal role in Sunday's playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Winfield, who missed six games after suffering a Lisfranc injury, was used only as the nickel back in the regular-season finale against the Giants after struggling in the previous two games. The Vikings might stick with that plan Sunday and have Benny Sapp play the left cornerback spot. Vikings coach Brad Childress said Winfield will play "some" on the outside.
"Wherever they need me or feel I'll be most effective, I'll be there," Winfield said.
Winfield spent the bye week at his home in Houston and said his foot made progress. He admits he won't be 100 percent until this offseason, but he said the extra rest helped.
"I feel good," he said. "I think it helped having the time off, staying off the foot.
Winfield clearly was not right in back-to-back losses to Carolina and Chicago. He gave up several long touchdown catches and missed a handful of tackles. The coaching staff gave him a reduced role against the Giants and he played about 20 snaps in the nickel package with Sapp as the starter.
"It gives the secondary a great luxury," Sapp said of being able to play both positions. "It's a totally different mindset [being in slot vs. outside], but that's what I do. It's pretty easy for me."
Winfield said it's easier on his foot if he plays in the slot because that position doesn't require as much running, and he's obviously not on the field for as many plays."On the outside you have to worry about the deep ball. You have to worry about running across the field. In the slot, we play a lot of Cover-2 zone so I'm looking in at the quarterback, and I'm moving in spaces that are limited so I'm not moving as much."

playing the slot is fine with me better run support and a great spot to blitz from but im sure he will be at the corner also with rolled coverage on the deep ball -

i loved the clark prop and just saw you on it. we were robbed. if the colts have to do anything in the second half it is an easy winner. tough luck to both of us - good luck tomorrow.

one question, explain the line in the minnesota game to me. it's -3 +110 or ML -135. Do the lines makers just not want to move off the 3 or what? it does not make sense to me. i want to play the money line -135 but want your take before i do it.

thanks for all you do.
