I think Chess is very good brain power game than other game,

Control the Center

Control the Center

4 squares and make ur 1st move Pawn to K 4 and always take white.
After that its ur game to lose. get the 3 or 4 basic openings down and u will beat almost any one that doesn't play regularly.
Know the value of pieces and get ur castles into the game to control columns. And don't be afraid to exchange pieces...esp if u gain a pawn or Knight / Bishop exchange for a Rook!!!!

if i was living with this broad I would'nt be playing as much chess as I do now but since i'm not I can be found @ http://gameknot.com/ where i have a rating of 1167 B/c I think about playing with instead of against at times....... It's called being Human or not having any beer on ice...
