Wife took daughter to see grandparents and they have a cat. Augusta loved it. Now for X-mas Augusta had to have a fucking cat. Wife goes and spends $150 on this fucking thing at the Humane Society. It is supposedly 6 months old (they charge more the younger they are). Of course Jes is still pregnant at this time and can't touch the litter:rolleyes: But she spent about $100 on fucking toys and shit for this thing.

Augusta liked the cat for 1 day until it jumped on her and was hanging from her skin like its claws were meat hooks. On top of that, it would attck Jes when she would walk in front of it:mj07: I end up feeding it, cleaning up after it, everything. They just lock the fucker downstairs the whole time I'm gone. Long story short we took the fucker back and they want $50 for that too. Then, I see it on their site the next day listed as a 6 month old again (it's at least a year). Someone else adopted the thing for another $150. Everything is a scam.

No, I don't like cats!

You can leave a cat for a week and go get yer shit on somewhere else and the cat will be fine when you get back. The dog will be dead.

Cats are superior. They are quieter, smarter, and have better instincts. Dogs are good for owners who need an ego boost, but cats are better survivors and generally smarter creatures.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Like all animals--have two cats. Would like to have dog--but don't want to tie one up and if indoors can't leave home for several days by itself like cats. Also cats are kinda kicked back and not as personable as dogs in general. I don't think the experience of losing cat would be as traumatic as a dog--but just my opinion.

Never saw a cat or dog I didn't like--and never saw a person that abuses them that I did like--

Cats are great! You don't need to walk them. They crap in a box! A lot of you guys don't like them because they have dignity. Sorry but it's no big deal simply because you come home!
As for the cat stink empty the box! Also don't feed them a corn based cat food.

and you are complaining about a rental car fee for the golf outing???? :nono: :nono:

I am an animal lover but have never wanted a cat. They could care less if you are around, as long as you feed them and clean out their shit box. NOOO thanks.

The pooing in the box deal is fucking gross. I have never walked into a home that owns cats without being able to detect the odor of cat urine and poo.

As for dogs, I like 'em, but think the worst part about a dog is they are sooo freakin' needy. I've always had dogs, but one of my dogs ran away 2 Christmas' ago, and the second dog died suddenly of a heart attack while were were on vacation last August. Both sad events, but never again because my house is a pet-free zone from now on..........

You learn alot about an individual's character based on their treatment of those who cannot defend themselves. I am shocked that your grandmother would ask you to kill defenseless animals, and that you would have gone through with it.

I wish I had not read this disgraceful post.

The kittens were just born. Their eyes was not even opened yet and they would have died anyway.

I guess it would have been fair to let them suffer for a few days?

Sure. What better way of being "fair" than hurling blind, defenseless creatures full force from a moving vehicle into a roadside sign. No idea why anyone would find such a noble gesture offensive.
