Do you wear a Player's Jersey???

To each his own, but I have to admit it just strikes me as....inherently wrong. I don't know if it's the hero worship aspect, or what it is that makes it seem, well, cheesy.

It just seem that when you're an adult, you should be grown up and not act like a child. I get younger guys (up to maybe 23, but after that, you're wearing a grown man's jersey?) Ugh, just don't like it.

Is wearing a pro's jersey okay if you are playing the sport in a pickup game? For those of you that care. To me it's no big deal. I've even done it. I wore my Cubs jersey with my last name (but Maddux's number) to Wrigley. Thought about getting other jerseys for games, but never did. To me why not wear the jersey to the game? That's the best place to wear it unless you are playing a pickup game.

I like breaking out my David Diehl or Roethlisberger jersey when I'm sitting on my couch shoving some fried food and beer in my pie-hole.
