seriously!

other forums and here, it's all chalk, chalk and more chalk

Boston is everywhere, San Fran, Wsox, I know they are superior teams but are all 3 going to win??

just can't believe taking road chalk is constantly winning

me, i've been playing Det, TB and KC too much lately and losing, so I'll pass on those.

Is it me or is Baseball just all about taking Chalk and winning??

thanks for the input guys

Chump,

A nice FAT dog with potential tonight is Baltimore! Erickson has come up big vs. the Yankees in recent years, including Opening Day this year. Thurman was a gas can in the NL, and I don't think he should be more than -200 over ANYBODY.

Good luck.

Agree with you Eugene 100 %. Played BAL as a Value play today. Thanks for the re-assurance

Chump, if you notice, I have Det with a shot today. Only problem is that you would be going against some of the top cappers at Jack's. All the ones that I didn't list have a shot at going either way with no advantage that I can see for either side. Good luck tonight.

In my last post I said the Padres were playing better....I still think so but the record doesn' t bear me out....I am still playing em but
have other input on it .....and would not want to sway anyone...
also another puppy is the under in Arizona-Houston.........
Also have been swayed to try Balt...@ the big #.

I have Texas listed as one of my picks tonight at +140. I also think Baltimore (big dog) and even Tampa (little dog) have a good shot at winning tonight, although I'm probably not going to take a chance on Tampa on the road.

It's not just you - it seems that the favorites are winning more regularly this year than what I can remember from last year. Books can't be doing nearly as well with all these favorites cashing tickets. I wouldn't be surprised to see it turn around a little the rest of the year, but we shall see........

Well certainly baseball wagering is all about winning, and if you cap a game, the Yankees lets say, and your capping indicates that the Yankees are going to win, then why would take the opposing team just because of the price. If you cap a game and the price is too high on the chalk, don't play it. But whatever you do, don't play a dog because they are getting a high price. No matter what you read, if you do that consistantly, the big payoff is not there. Do some research on last years game where the dog was +200 or higher. If you bet $100 on everyone of those games you would have lost money.

Look at the Baltimore Yankees game tonight. Liliy is -220. Does he deserve this? NO, but if you believe the yankees are going to win it doesn't matter if he is at -110 or -310. The question is are you willing to pay the price if you think you've done a good job at capping the game. Information is the key to being succesful in this game. If you spend the time researching, it will pay off in the end.

Good luck whatever you do.
