Been wondering that myself. He's been the anchor of the half-time team for quite a long time. It feels strange reading the half-time threads without an RC post.:(

I can understand a bit of a respite, but Rander has been gone the whole 2nd half of the b-ball season. Hopefully, everything is well with him and the family. His analysis has been missed by all.

Thanks for the kind words...

Thanks for the kind words...

Hey guys...

glad to know I was missed!

I apologize to all about my sudden disappearance, but it was not only needed, but necessary. I had some money in ACES GOLD, :thefinger a bit more than I should have, and in fact, had placed money for my father in law with them. (he likes to play the ponies!) Anyway, I assured him it was safe and all, and as everyone knows, it wasn't...

That turned out to be the final straw for my wife. Taking time away from her and my son was fine as long as I was able to make a little, but when that came to a screeching halt, I had to back off. I didn't lose all, but a significant enough of an amount that I felt uneasy, and as we all know, "don't play on scared money!" and I would have been had I continued. It was better to get out and regroup, and focus on our house hunting.

In fairness to everyone, I stopped cold turkey. My mind or heart were NOT in it anymore and I saw no point in posting mindless/heartless garble. ANYWAY, things are improving for me at home, and I may be back contribituting soon, we'll see. Gonna sit back and enjoy the NCAA (without WAGERING) and may start looking at NBA again in the meantime.

As mentioned by skulldog, I have been working on my BASES system, and will again be posting that come Opening Day.

I wish you all well, and good luck with the HOOPS! Thanks again for the kind words, and especially to NICK DOUGLAS for bringing this post to my attention. :D

I second that Rander. Thanks for replying. Sorry about what happened with ACES, but I think you made the right move. Family first. Doing what we do is fun but if it takes time away from your wife and children, then it's not so good anymore. Looking forward to bases and having you back with the rest of the hoops team!
