too cheap to buy any. I come across a lot at libraries when I'm driving about the country. I've ripped copies (for my private home use only!) recently of the Chuck Berry Chess Set, Allman Brothers "Dreams", Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Bonfire" by AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, ?West Coast Seattle Boy?...
of the famous Bear Family sets (a German company specializing in comprehensive issues for fans) I've only found Johnny Cash, "Man In Black Vol.1, 1954-58" (5-CD), "Orbison 1955-1965 by Roy Orbison" (7 discs, available at Amazon for $170!) and "The Sun Rock Box: Rock 'n' Roll Recorded By Sam Phillips, 1954-1959" (8 CDs)
Library in Austin had "Rock n' Roll Classics" - 7 DVD Set from the Ed Sullivan Show, and the 16 DVD set "Dean Martin Variety Show"
my old VHS player gave out. I had to find another one on Craigslist last year. A fancy $180 Sony from 2000 guy hardly ever used and had to list for just $15!
I sometimes come across stuff on VHS that has never been made available in any other media. I then dub a copy to DVD, save the digital image, and upload torrent of it for other to enjoy! Or, in this case, I uploaded it to YouTube...
