I have been on here and seen all the love for dogs, and the hate for Vick for his dog show.



Well here it is, my rant...........Yes I have been drinking. but my point should still go noticed.



First off, Vick uses pitbulls to fight , i hate that breed , Darwinism at its best I say.


The more pitbulls that die that better. Trust me not a breed that will be noticed on some endangered list.



But anyway , all the animal lovers and protectors, that can stand the sight of what is happening to them.........please



I live close to Del Mar race track, and every year horses need to be euthanized........personally some made up word to sugar coat the obvious.........KILLLED.

Period.......horses die every year because they are forced to race for some entertaining pleasure and betting opportunity. Just as those dogs in Vicks core.



If u want to save those dogs start with the horses.

You make a really good point Padre, but Vick tortured his dogs and the horses are well "trained" to race , there is a big difference between the two.

But if the horses were left alone to graze in some pasture and not forced to race, then they may not sustain injury to the point that they need to be killed......i mean euthanized.(I dont like the sight of blood or the sound of gunshot) so i choose the use the big word instead of murder........ohhh wait i did use the word murder ,,,,,,,,,,,that means someone is responsible for it..........

If they lose, they get killed. Almost as simple as that. The greyhound rescue society (or whatever it's called; there's one for every breed) is really organized and active.

No compassion for an animal that is completely innocent of what man has done to them??? You watch one of them being abused & see the look in their eyes begging for help, having no idea why this is happening to them & you then tell me you have no compassion. :nono: It is heart wrenching.

Not trusting or even banning them, is very far from torturing & abusing them.

Like them or not they are dogs & there are some great 'pet worthy' pit bulls.

They shouldnt have to suffer for what MAN has done to them by inproperly breeding them for aggresion & fighting for OUR pleasure @ THEIR expense.

Isnt that like being a racist in way? I might not trust some kinds of folks from what have seen on the news or from personal experience, but that doesnt make it ok for me to not trust/hate/whatever vs everyone of that particular race does it?

Maybe I should have no compassion for the Jews that suffered in the Holocaust, since some people say not to trust Jews. I guess that makes their abuse/torture not worthy of my compassion. Even if I really didnt like Jews, which isnt the case, I would still feel compassion for those that suffered as I do for any innocent living creature that suffers through no fault of thier own.:shrug:

Believe it or not, people are far more unpredictable than any breed of dog, including Pits.

I love dogs including pitts. Pitts are spectacular. I had one and I was in awe of the pure strength and athlethic ability it had. He never once came close to biting a human however when my little pom was playing with the neighbors dog my pit thought they were fighting and went to protect my pom and got into a fight with the neighbors dog. That was the only time he had any problems. :SIB

no pitbull for me. i don't even want to be near one. no convincing me otherwise either. too many horror stories about that breed. i'll bet that pitbulls account for the majority of dog attacks and injury to humans out of all dogs combined. i don't even have to look it up to be pretty sure that's correct.

As a nation that probably wouldn't be an accurate assumption. But if stats were taken from larger cities only your assumption would probably be accurate. (the media mostly only covers pitt attacks because they know its what people want to hear) Probably chows account for more nation wide
