Gotta run, smurph. I think I was pointing out (a) a fact (regarding crime stats); and (b) my personal experiences. I don't really see a need to rehash the same argument that's been rehashed innumerable times in the political forum. It's almost like you believe certain groups should be immune from being criticized for their behavior. Pretending a problem doesn't exist doesn't make it go away. Finally, what's your reasoning for why every other group that's come here, and who has been persecuted, still can succeed? Asians, specifically, are the most obvious answer. They come here, don't speak the language, don't have any money, and yet they still manage to rise to the top. Perhaps a difference in what each culture VALUES?When did I ever post an "excuse"? All I have done is provide historical context and asked you what your point is when you say that blacks IN GENERAL do not achieve.
It is my theory that things do not change overnight. We are experiencing a small part of a much larger timeline that was dominated for the most part by oppresive discrimination. How can a logical person expect 10 generations of oppresion to suddenly be equalized in 1 generation of equality? How can a person with an unbiased brain expect this?
Some of you seem to relish in these stats that make blacks look bad, without giving a thought of the larger picture.
But I'll just ask again - since you started it way back on page 1 or 2. What is the heart of your point when you say that blacks (in general) are less ambitious and commit more crimes?
