"The co-hosts of "The View" offered their input on news of the dismissal of all charges against the three indicted Duke lacrosse players. After discussing Imus again, co-host Joy Behar labeled the innocent players as "a little white boy’s club" that is "in effect" at Duke"...
then they intimated that if they weren`t guilty of this,they were guilty of something.....
i`ll be serious for a second...imus said something he shouldn`t have...maybe he has a history of offensive stupidity...and even though i don`t believe you take a person`s livelihood for saying something racist or offensive..... you have to realize that in this liberal,p.c. bullshit climate we live in,anything uttered in public or private as a public figure can and will be held against you in the court of public opinion.....he should have known that...
of course,the execs at pmsnbc and cbs knew imus.....f=cking hypocrites...cbs is showing its rat fink self by allowing its record division to sell, promote, and sensationalize their rap artists who rap about nappy ho's, killing people, and drugs ad nauseum.....
on the other hand, i`m sure those 88 duke professors had plenty of time to think out, plan and write their petition whose intention was to target three people because of their gender, race and social class..... male, white and upper-middle class....
i would classify the professors' petition as possible hate speech.....and perhaps the parents of those three young men should look into how their son’s civil rights were violated by the university professors and begin civil and criminal litigation....
those 3 students were harassed and threatened by other students as a direct result of that petition.....were forced out of school...the lacrosse program was shut down...
this is liberal academia at it`s very best...or worst,depending on your perspective...
not to mention the student`s parents being on the hook for probably around a cool mill each in attorney`s fees.....
now,the a.g. of n. car announced that there would be no prosecution of the "ho" that pressed bogus charges....
throw in sharpton`s and jackson`s roles in enflaming the situation and basically convicting those guys before any real investigation of the evidence took place....
and you could make the argument that the 2 reverend big mouth's lying comments have in years past caused death and destruction, yet senile comedian imus, whose comments don't reach any further than disgust, is the one sacrificed on the altar of political correctness......
everybody`s crying about one of the basketball girl`s saying,"i`m scarred for life"......
the lacrosse guys and their families?....
