Where's Joker when you need him? This one he could call them "pigs", and I wouldn't care.

When the Lt says something about, 'if you point a gun at a police officer, you're going to get shot', it's not much of an apology for fucking up.

Maybe this guy was a piece of shit? Maybe the cops are glad they got him off of the street? Maybe. But when you knock on someone's door in a shitty neighborhood at 1:30am, unannounced, there is a good chance they might answer with a gun in their paw.

That's a pretty good reason all by itself to make sure you have confirmation of where you are going.

I'm pretty sure the cops didn't follow normal procedures that they were taught during training. Legal procedures as well by not identifying themselves. They fucked up, plain and simple and should pay the consequences for their own fuckup. Period.

I don't blame them for shooting. But, what do I know?
