I have mixed feelings on this one--I believe intense anger on face of pops is concern.
Would have played out much better had he calmly walked up to car-destroyed it in one swipe and nonchanantly replaced his ball an proceeded to putt as nothing had happened.
--of course if kid ran out on the green and stepped in his line afterward--that would be a diff story
when i say"lesson learned",i say it in the spirit that i was glad nobody was harmed....
i didn`t want those young idiots to get hit with the club....
but imo,kids have to know(be taught) that what seems to "them" to be a harmless,benign,cute prank,may not be perceived by a stranger in the same manner...
they didn`t know who they were f`ing with....and obviously,they were messing with two old codgers who didn`t have much in the way of a sense of humor... and were toting clubs...
you just can`t mess with strangers....you don`t know who you`re fooling with...
i think it was an excellent outcome for those kids....
