really bizarre how people get offended when someone points out the obvious about their sports hero's. It is almost like they would die for their hero's. Strangest thing i ever saw. We got corrupt cops, corrupt judges, corrupt lawyers, corrupt doctors, corrupt politicians but coaches and sports atheltes along with refs are all legit. Good lord.

I believe you, man. I mean why else would Manning wait until the end of the season to negotiate his contract? It's because he wants to include some type of "bonuses" into his contract based on how much bookies have made off of him this year. :142smilie

I am pretty sure the sponge is joking looking to stir the pot, at least I hope. I do believe their are fixes at times, but not from QB's making boat loads of money, who have to worry about getting their heads taken off by blitzing 250 lb'ers!. The ones who could be gotten to are the refs, and small conference college atheletes ,who are not going pro and trying to make some bread. Maybe,we are all the crazy, and Sponge is the sane one:scared

You make a living gambling, but do not track your action or keep records of any kind......:mj07: We've been through this before, and i can assure you no one with half of a brain believes that you make a living as a pro sports gambler..... Carry on:142smilie

im supposed to track my action for some nitwit like you on a post board? Interesting. Keep on betting against the public like u always do with no thought in it what so ever, and than not know why u win a game. I know that hurt ur feelings about Brees but he will never win a superbowl again. The guy is now officially bought and told what to do by the league just like those other crooks i listed. Get used to it. The guy was golden last year and now he struggles against the bottom of the barrel. Why is that? could it be that his team was the highest bet team on that particular day? He is making millions for the books now so get use to it dummy.

I personally believe that Pro Wrestling is the only sport that is not fixed. The bookies can't control it and you can't bet on it.

Where there's money, there's greed. It's that simple. Someone is on the take in all sports. I have no doubt.

A break out touchdown called back on a phantom hold for the 2 score lead? Not likely. It's about Television Nielsen ratings and individual stars.

Corruption is everywhere, but Drew Brees orchestrating it like it's WWF?

Get outta town. That's silly.

So Drew Brees controls the refs and the NFL and the game was fixed? :mj07:

Personally, I do not have a sports hero. I outgrew that phase prior to puberty. Corrupt officials makes sense, corrupt star athletes earming 15 million annually does not.

On the course!
I was on Pitt? Interesting. I could show ya ten contest where i took New Orleans. Other countrys just laugh at our stupidity.

And we laugh at yours. Again.....and again.....and again.

Of course you can show us ten contests where you were on New Orleans.....but just like fucking clockwork......you can't show one post HERE where you said anything about how New Orleans was going to win yesterday.

Amazing, huh?

NEVER have you been right about shit BEFORE the fact!

Even in this thread, you make a complete ass of yourself saying how the Lakers will dump the game last night. (As close as I've ever seen you come to making a "claim" before a game is actually over.) But, you were completely fucking wrong. Imagine that.

That is not what I said what so ever. You need to not only sound out the syllables but understand what the sentences mean. I know it's hard for you.

Good luck.

I wouldn't go as far to say that Brees or anyone for that matter is on the take. The Cardinals game does make you scratch your head a little. Plus I believe Brees threw an interception deep in Saints territory that was returned for a TD which made the game go over? I don't think you can pay off millionaire athletes with money, but you could threaten them with potential "accidents" to their family members. I would hope that isn't the case.

HELL
I dont know guys, Pittsburgh just looked flat last night. Kudos to NO. NO matched Pittsburgh's physicality, especially stuffing them on the goal line. Pittsburgh just didn't seem to play with the same flair or excitement, I mean no Hines Ward smiles or flashes of escapability from Ben. They just looked like they were going through the motions, and NO took advantage of it in a big game for them from a record standpoint. More urgency, and that can happen in any sport when you play certain teams and caliber of opponent.

Not to reference anything, and not on this level, but I played college hoops started all four years NAIA, and my point is it is tough to get up every game especially to a bad team, but certain games or with teams that won in the past were circled and mentally I was on a different level. NO just played with passion last night and it showed. I realize they are pros and getting paid, but mentally it is different playing Cleveland versus Pittsburgh.

This type of thing happens in every sport, and although I do believe some stuff looks fishy at times, guys making millions arent going to take a bribe, maybe a ref. Afterall, one could call holding every playing against James Harrison, he gets mugged every play.

The guy struggles to barely beat Carolina, Out right loses to pathetic Arizona and Cleveland. Now all these games had heavy money bet on his team. Now tonight the money is all on Pitt and he somehow finds a way to dice up the best defense in the NFL. The guy was a cover machine last year and then he won his superbowl. Then the long off season where the gambling gods sit him down and tell him how he is now supposed to play. Cmon guys lets not be naive. He loses two of three to those shitholes i listed and now looks like the great uarterback he really is tonight against the best defense. This isn't some kind of coincident. This shit is so phony a child should be able to realize it. Looking for the usual Lakers collaspe in the fourth quarter so they can rig their game tonight.

:142smilie :mj07: ...................okay pal......

It's more than just the quarterbacks and refs. They're all in on it.

Sorry if I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you meant the game was fixed. No need to be a smartass.

ONE time he posted a few days before the game. It was last year and he guaranteed that Favre would make the game go under. WRONG! :mj07:

ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the other times was AFTER the game

And everybody but HIM is a nitwit. Talk about "you can't make this shit up" like he always says :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:
