Well here goes I am gonna shock some of you, piss some of you off, and get flamed by the rest of you.
A. You don't deserve the job. You can't meet the qualifications of the job being that you are to be drug-free all the time. Do they have random sampling? Most workplaces do that have placement screening.
B. I would never ever have to worry about that, I do drink but never ever have smoked or used MJ/Pot in any form.
C. I guess this bring up my final question. How many on here can honestly say they have never done any illegal drugs, am I the only one that has never gotten high?
I was raised in the country on a farm in southern Pickaway Co Ohio. One of my friends, his first name is Bruce and I were in the local bar one night in my late 20's (28/29). He asked me Gene did you ever finally smoke any weed? I looked him straight in the face and said, " Bruce, no I never did, did you?" He chuckled and said yes Gene I did. He proceeded to say, Well you probably didn't know that grass was available in Xxxxxxxx High School when you are attending did you ? (our school) Nope, I didn't think there was. I knew it was there by the time my wife graduated in 1975, but I figured it arrived sometime in between. Bruce moved to our school district in the second grade, his birthday was 2 days after mine March 22nd. Bruce won't turn 50 two days after I do this month. Bruce didn't make 45 either. He did smoke pot & cigarettes. Heart attach. Not related, I don't know and don't really care. I am not gonna find out. My father is 88. My paternal grandmother lived to 90.
Call me a prud or a nerd or a jerk or a saint. I don't agree with drug use and never did. I have a niece that is totally messed up. Her natural father used LSD and a bunch other crap. And yep it all started with a little weed. Does it always lead to harder stuff? Of course not with some will power one can control have far one goes. But just like gambling some people can't control it. They go overboard and lose control.
