I worked at a burger joint and the cops came in and got free food hell you knew them all.
They would just tell you the nite is over and to go home.

I got a text from a buddy one day, sent him an e-mail calling him a biatch, I don't have that sheet and it cost me .15 cents! He text's me the next day with this message...

drinking age in maryland was 18
18 in NY then too.
We had a police radio in the car and would beat them to their calls. That pissed them off too!! :mj07:

I've driven a few times with enuf booze to probably be legally drunk, but I wasn't drunk.

When I had that property with rednecks in deep East Texas (swampy lake land near Louisiana border) several years back, you could legally drive with open containers. But not drive drunk.
Federal Gov't told us to change law or get all our highway funds from DC pulled from local road budget. Most of my neighbors said "Fck You" blackmailers and urged congressmen to refuse the road money and "save local traditions". The congressmen did speak in favor of our open container laws, but cooler heads prevailed and law was passed outlawing it.
but never had to worry in the little hamlet I lived--rednecks taught cops they ain't welcome and cops never came unless urgently called or warrant had to be served....but game wardens came all the time...
