Dubious Reputation?

While searching for a thread that mysteriously disappeared ( I think I got in trouble for telling BTJ to go suck a lobster! :scared ),
I discovered that there is apparently a rating system for members. If you go to the Member listing, there is a category labeled Reputation. I notice that my name has a black mark next to it, along with Scott the dog guy (sorry, I don't remember your proper name) and Vinnie to name a couple more. Others such as MadJack and beantownjim have green marks alongside. Can anyone explain these markings and the logic behind them? Just curious. :rolleyes:

Given the normal banter around here I really don't think anybody deleted or moved your thread for telling Beanie to 'suck a lobster.'

That was the worst thing I said, unless MadJack doesn't want me "hitting on" his dad! Seriously, though, do you know anything about the "Reputation" thing? That has me bugged more than a missing thread. I don't think I've been overly offensive to anyone on here and when I see that BTJ has the same reputation as MJ (green), it makes me think someone really doesn't like me if mine is black!

If there is voting or something, I'd like to do some rating of my own!

i always knew that kosar had a dubious reputation. all you have to do is watch him in vegas.

but am surprised about vanurse....after all she is a nurse......or is that just a front.....inquiring minds want to know.(lol)

Thank you all for the responses.... deep breath taken! Somehow I suspect I'll be forced to take a few more when I start my commute home on this lovely holiday weekend in a few minutes but, for now, I feel much better knowing that I'm not hated (at least not by many).

AR182, I am a nurse but it was a career move I made in my 30's. I'm afraid the dubious reputation was probably pretty well established by then. Historically, nurses were camp followers and not known for their ladylike ways. Think of a cross between a nun, a nurse in porn and Nurse Ratchett and you might be close! Or just look at my avatar and you'll have a pretty good idea! :idea:
