easy, happens every year:

the mid level sec teams are always over-ranked to start the season

then the never play anyone (esp on the road) and always beat those nobodys,

then when they play each other in conf, the loser has a "good loss" and doesnt drop in the polls, while the winner has a "good win" and moves up in the polls.

it's a cycle that happens evey year and makes the mid level teams and the conf look better than it actually is...

If you were correct, then the SEC would not be strong in Bowls. An example of this is ND. Year after year they are invited to bowls they don't deserve to be in, thus their massive bowl losing streak. Last year, SEC played in 9 bowls and finished with a 6-3 record.

BTW, I bet you would actually be able to provide useful info to the forum if you took the energy you put into arguing how bad the SEC is, and used it to cap some games and post some unbiased info and opinions. Just sayin'

:iagree: USC, LSU, OU, GATORS, creme of the
crop. All others step aside. Boy would a 4 team
playoff at the end of the year generate some
coin or what :Yep:

I am not sold LSU. OL is a MASSIVE concern. So far, LSU has hands down the most impressive resume when you look at 79-23 combined victories over 2 top 12 opponents. Injuries to WR Doucet, OG Arnold, DT Alexander and QB Flynn will likely present problems down the road. FLynn should be ok for Florida, but these high ankle sprains can linger.

With all due respect Cie, I am sold on LSU, they
are nasty. My bigger concern is the Saints. It
might get ugly this year. But your LSU team is
solid, easy to say that, test will come Oct 6. I'ts
for all the marbles. Then those 2 will play again
in the SEC CHAMP GAME. That's just not right.
USC should have to beat Ore or Cal twice, 2nd
time on a neutral field. But it is what it is. :SIB

I hope you're right, Kramer. I do seem to always undervalue LSU. Kinda odd for a season ticket holder. I guess I don't want to jinx 'em;)
