Early thoughts for Gulfstream - Wed

People keep visiting my SUNDAY thread and that one is history. Thought I'd start this one so there's NEW stuff to read. I've been on DRY ICE last few days - so thought I'd use the free time to check out Gulfstream for tomorrow.

Race 1
no. 6, Estrella Vega, 10-1: I know - looks like poopoo. Looking closer shows EXCELLENT connections, some early kick in a MUCH higher class race, and workouts ain't bad. Yet, still an outiside chance but A CHANCE for sure. Just a "warm up for the day" bet on her W/Pl. I see three figure horses to go with her in exacta boxes.... 1,2, 7. No. 1 could be a side bet at her M.L. of 6-1.

2nd Race
Not much going on here. That 10-1 M.L. (that just might go higher) on no. 8 makes him VERLY interlesting though. Bocachica is my main man at Suffolk, my second bestest track to bet. Gonna check this one out in the prerace. NOT a play yet. BTW, I wouldn't post this horse just on account of the jockey - other stuff looks good as well. Three horses show pretty good early speed and one of them is the no. 8. AND the other two have been on vacations, one of which musta went to a really nice place and didn't want to come home. He was gone for well over a year. Looking for a solid closer in this race could be the way to go... we gotta check that part out yet.

3rd Race
Too iffy. The no. 2 or the no. 4 will have to show me some good stuff in the paddock for me to play this race.

4th, 5th, 6th
As the Aflac Billy Goat would say,"Nah, Nah, Nah".

I know it's Wednesday and nobody may be THAT interested in hosses today. So somebody's gotta dust off the keyboard and let me know if them's interested cause I still got sum figuring to do and I may not have the time to write to meself later today .. you know - once the ACTION starts.

I hate not having the tvg channel at work, but i'll try and watch on espn live racing if they show gulfstream today. I'll tail your plays though and wait for results to pop up either way though. thanks jimbo :toast: :toast: :0corn

Well, I feel a little better now.. REALLY.

Can you imagine, I was on the phone with a problem i'm having with Comcast. Was on for a long time, reading them the riot act.

Guess what.. I missed that freakin first race. UGH!

Hey, I REALLY do feel a little better now that I see my work didn't go to waste. Now I gotta fix the dent I put in my desk when I saw the results. (only kidding, but my hand does still hurt a little LOL).

I got a guy coming over to buy a puter from me.. I gotta get my dang priorities in order . I'm heading right to Twin Towers site and see what I'm gonna do.

i decided to pass the 2nd race cause they were getting ready to go in the gate when I got there. What a freakin day for my nerves. My pressure was really going up when I saw that 8 (10-1) and the leader head to head at the midway point down the final stretch.

Hope I didin't cost anybody on that one, but I gotta admit I felt better when I saw the 8 backing up as they got closer to the finish line.

I didn't expect it, but I'm gonna be busy this afternoon. SHEEEET. I didn't get to go over the later races yet. SHEEEEEEEET again.

Well, you don't need to be a professor of horse body language (that's me.. .LOL) to see that most of these are deadheads.

4-6-7 show a little life. Prob. 4 LOOKS best.

DON"T givem back a decent piece of whatever you collected in the first race.

I may put a couple bucks on the 4.
