The "great call" pats on the Broncos game (or any other that comes down to a fluke play or getting super lucky all game) are hilarious to me.
Can't it just be "great win" or "great hit?"
The winning side wasn't always the "right" side. If you don't understand this, you do not understand math or gambling. I sincerely mean this to help.
If I lay 400 to win a 100 on heads and heads it - I didn't make the correct call. I just got lucky that my 50/50 shot came up on that particular toss. Obviously, if I do this all day, I will go bankrupt.
In poker, if I call off all my chips, but then hit runner runner to take the pot, I didn't make the correct call - I got lucky. Again, if I make that call regularly, I will go bankrupt.
I don't care to argue about last nights game - but in principle, you HAVE to understand this.
inordinately strange start to the season by any measure.....,it took some very strange/unusual things to happen to lose those wagars....8 or 9 times out of 10 you hit both ends.....hopefully the law of averages evens out the craziness as the season progresses......
