Hope to meet with the owner this Friday!!
I was going to suggest that you meet with the owner 1st. If you find someone that will sell you a Bully w/o wanting to meet you they generally don't care about the welfare of the dogs and aren't breeding for the right reasons.
I would recommend that you take a look at the
bulldog standard if you aren't familiar with how bulldogs are intended to look. Make sure their tails corkscrew out and their heads aren't too small etc.
I am the proud owner of Zeke on the puppies link I gave you above. He is now nearly 7 months old and I wouldn't trade him for anything.
A good breeder will make sure you're aware of the possible health problems associated with the breed. They will generally make you sign a waiver saying you understand the risk (see health and information contract in link). So far we've been lucky but my last bulldog cherry eye which was quite expensive to correct.
If the price seems really inexpensive, there is usually a reason why. Expect to pay $2200-$3000 for an English Bulldog. Well bred dogs don't come cheap.
If you have any specific questions, just ask. I will tell you that once you own a bulldog you won't want any other breed.
