I'm not on the left and I agree it is a lie. But an even bigger lie is that you can cut taxes for everyone, run 2 $100B wars a year and continue to import Saudi gas at record levels. McCain is just as big of a liar as Obama. It's unfortunate that someone can't cut throught the BS and tell the country the truth. The Republicans are going to pay for the economic malfeasance of the last 8 years and for that we will get higher taxes and the usual democratic mis management. It would be hard for someone to do any worse than the buffoon from Texas.

drill for oil/natural gas/nuclear power/solar/wind/coal...everything....

but we won`t with an obama presidency and a democratic congress...who do nothing...

and until we do,we`ll be at the mercy of other nations that tell these enviro-nuts to f-ck themselves..

To say that all earners of less than 250K will not see a tax rate increase is lunacy given the proposed ss cap increase. Call me obtuse, but I have a difficult time understanding how raising the $100K SS tax cap is not a tax increase.

yesterday Biden said 150K/year obviously they are all lieing, it will be 100K next week and probably anyone that pays more taxes than they get back will get a tax increase the week after that. With democratic congress we are in trouble. I am thinking about getting some ammo and cash to keep around for when we have a revolution.

It is impossible to reasonably dispute that raising the cap on ss tax will increase tax burden on the self-employed by approximately 15% on income between $100-250K. And no, I am not an accountant , but I'm not a fool either.

For the record, I feel strongly that a family of 4 living on an income of $150 - $250K is middle class. Upper middle-class, sure, but not living in the lap of luxury by any stretch. And, I am speaking of living in Louisiana, which clearly has a below average cost of living. (Otherwise, no one would still be here :mj07: )

I believe the reason the different numbers are coming up is because the 250k was always referring to couples and 150k was for individuals. I heard it that way from the very beginning.
