Incorrect! I believe that they were misidentified.
Perhaps, but not in this case.
Actually, it highlights the problem with ordinary citizens having both the desire and (now) the means to be the first to "break" a news report. There are far too many inconsistencies and inaccuracies as a result, which is not unlike terribly irresponsible journalism.

Why so surprised? It's possible for ANYONE to learn how to make a bomb these days.
Perhaps they were just "foreigners" prior to taking up residence in the United States.
And, of course, the only way to prevent these kinds of crazies living in this peaceful country is to not allow any non-Americans access!!!

How do you do that ? When you fill out app. for visa do you check the box " are you a bad egg ".

(8:30 a.m. ET): Pete Wilson of WBZ-TV in Boston has already interviewed the uncle of the two suspects. When told what has happened to his nephews, he called one of them a "loser" and said the one who was killed "deserved it." The uncle says the suspects came to the U.S. in 2000 or early 2001, but he has not spoken to them much since 2005. He says the last he heard of him was when Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had graduated from high school. When asked "What's going through your mind?" the uncle responds, "I wish they never existed. They don't deserve to live on this Earth."

one of the female reporters on cnn made reference to "police canine dogs"....
as opposed to "police feline dogs"?

you`re probably right....i guess she wanted to make sure to differentiate between the "police k-9 dog" and "police sniper dog" divisions...
