Zimmerman should be in jail for life. but hell get off. usual bullshit
So he deserves to be chased after and killed?
Fuck head.
Two things. One, I have told me kids to run if they're in that situation and to also scream the whole time they're doing it. Second, when I was 17 I was dumb enough and thought I was tough enough that I wouldn't have run.
You don't think he followed him so that there was no chance of Trayvon getting away?
Have you ever had your home broken into? If you haven't then I can tell you it's a weird feeling and changes a lot of things. I'm very protective of my kids. I've yelled at people driving too fast down my street and I've also gotten in my car and chased after a couple of kids that speed down it all of the time. They weren't very lucky. I wrote down their license plate number, went home and looked it up in my background check site that I use for work and went to speak with their parents.
Like I said, I don't know what happened and I don't think he should have been carrying a gun but I think there's more to the story than we know.
I have never had my home broken in to and I can't even pretend to imagine how shitty the feeling must be to have your home and family violated in that way. I'm sorry that there are pieces of shit in our world that rob and steal from good hardworking successful people. I think you have the right to protect your home and family by any means necessary when either are being threatened. I hunt, I keep a firearm in my home and I pray that I never have to make a life or death decision. I hate that criminals put good people in situations like this and I am fortunate that I have never been close to having to make that decision.
In your examples, you observed people doing wrong and then acted. They're hauling ass and you react because that is a threat to your children. Suspicion is subjective and in the Trayvon Martin case it was George Zimmerman who made that call. He didn't see Trayvon climbing out of a window or taking something from someone's lawn. He saw a kid in a hoodie. "These assholes. They always get away." Sorry L-Wood, Zimmerman does not get to make this call and he has already convicted Trayvon at this point even though he never saw him do anything illegal, not even speeding.
Zimmerman is armed, pursuing a suspicious teenager in the rain, and he has already called the cops. Trayvon runs, same thing your kids have been instructed to do except he wasn't yelling. Zimmerman is told he does not need to follow him, I get it, he was not told, DO NOT FOLLOW him, but I am telling you that if he had just waited for the police at this point, an unarmed 17 year old black child with Ice Tea and Skittles would not have been shot to death that night. Being burglarized does not justify vigilante homicide.
I have heard other people say, wait and see what comes out in the trial. Even if Trayvon ran ahead and set up an ambush and waited for Zimmerman to walk up and he got the drop on George, isn't this what the stand your ground law was set up for. An armed stranger pursues you on a dark and rainy night. You run but he still follows you. He never yells out that he is part of the neighborhood watch team, he just talks on his phone and follows you. I'd be scared shitless, but maybe Trayvon brought the fight to Zimmerman after he ran off the first time. We know that there was a scuffle and we know that Trayvon busted up George pretty bad. Justifiable homicide perhaps had the earlier events not played out the way they had. In the end, when it comes to George Zimmerman, These assholes. They always get dead.
The actions on the night of the incident are what should be used to determine the outcome of this case.

Zimmerman lives in the neighborhood, Trayvon didn't, he was a drug dealer and possible thief, Zimmerman did right chasing him down to find out what he was up too, to me he did absolutely nothing wrong, Trayvon attacked him not the other way around, Zimmerman was protecting himself and justifiably shot him in my opinion
All you Perry Masons out there need to get over yourself, you're not entitled to your OWN FACTS.
TIA
Just so you KNOW
I assume that hedgehog is included in your list of perry masons. Or, are you referring only to those who oppose your position?
You are both a bigot and a fool. Your opinion, like your word, is as worthless around here as it is in your sorry life.
While the majority are blaming one man or the other, it is likely that the actions of both contributed to this incident.
You are a drug addict, go smoke a bowl or two, what a good role model you are for your kids, your opinion of me means nothing

Zimmerman was right and Traythug was wrong
It's bullshit skul Zimmerman did nothing wrong, if Trayvon was white or Hispanic we would have never heard about the case, I hope he walks and I think he was framed also

Zimmerman deserves to go to jail, he had numerous chances to let it go- 1. When the 911 operator told him he didn't need to go after the kid 2. When the kid ran
He instigated the fight- it never would have happened had he left the kid alone.
Does not matter who instigated. Yes Zimmerman probly should not of done what he did. BUT, he had the right to defend himself. That is the bottom line.
