I am almost sure the Falcons used to have Kitna as a back up also. He really stunk then.

As soon as Mathis went down on the first play and out of the game, I knew it was over.

Sorry you lost Scott, but this is exactly what I was getting at. The Falcons spent a lot of energy in the last three match ups. Hard to get pumped up to face one the worst teams in the league.
The Falcons looked like the Eagles of last week. Uninspired and indifferent to the fact that they are in a football game. Thats why noone should bet the falcons as Rd favorites. they might not show up as evidenced by this game. Live and learn
