Fall Venetian Deep Stack

I'm thinking of heading out there in November. I was hoping to go to see Manny fight but Mayweather is too scared. Instead I was thinking of trying out the Deep Stack at the V.

Are the tournaments as good as I've heard? Are cash games any different during the deep stack?

Is anyone else going out there?

The best tournaments anywhere, IMO.

They must have just posted the schedule because I have been waiting for it. I plan on being there unless something comes up and I can't make it.

Cash games are probably better because there are more people there. I have only been there during DS tourneys so don't know how the games are usually.

I've got Allegiant Air a few miles from my house. It's 119 each way right now. Frontier out of Mil is my second choice.

I'm thinking the third weekend of November. It's kind of slow around here during that time. Not sure though.

I'm thinking of trying TI this time. I like that they are privately held.

I still need permission from the Boss anyway...

I live just outside of GB. Allegiant used to fly out of GB but now flies out of Appleton.

Allegiant also flies non-stop to Vegas out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa--about an hour drive for me. You have to travel on weird/days times--like leave on Thursday at 10 PM local time and return on a red-eye on Tuesday--but for 119 each way its worth it...

Southwest just lowered their November Vegas fares to $139 each way. Better than $159 anyway.

I would have booked yesterday but I am waiting for the SW Credit card to arrive in the mail so I can use that and get a free RT ticket anywhere USA.

They've been bugging me forever to get that friggin' card so I finally did. I'll use it to book this one fare and then cut it up :SIB

Just for shitts and giggles I looked up a trip via Allegiant for Nov and if I want to go from Nov 11-18th, its 140 to get out there, and 120 to return....hum....any of you degenerates gonna be out there then?
