Yea I have been around lakes all my life. Some definite dumbasses out there. Not like it happens all the time though. Just thought the statement was funny. Standard procedure to be hooked th the kill switch. I wonder what the injuries were in the video. Anyone know?

Been to the Ozarks in Missouri many times with a boat. Fun times, party cove 14 was pretty cool, and the night clubs are hoppin! However, don't think they don't patrol the shit out of that place. Those fuckers were probably in jail after a very short time. I saw many a morons out there getting DUI's just for driving boats while intoxicated. As I remember, I might have had a beer or two but was slalom skiing most of the time.

I live in Georgetown 30 miles north of Austin and yes I think a cold beverage is a good idea.
I was actually in Georgetown not too long ago and I now have a great reason to return. Will have to get our man JoshnAudi to make the short trip to the beverage getting place too!!! I will look to put something together in the very near future. Damn I wish I would have thought of this earlier. I would have shot down there this weekend, but I did go to Bedford Blues fest to see keb Mo an Kenny Wayne Shepherd (sp) so I had fun. That would kick ass krc, I will definitely get down there very soon. Do you golf? I suck at it but I have fun with it.

In Lake Ozark, a video taken onboard a boat helped the state Highway Patrol figure out the cause of a boating incident August 24th.
The accident happened at the 22 mile marker.
After reviewing the video the troopers determined that Marvin Carter was driving the boat too fast reaching speeds as high as 70 miles per hour.
The boat struck a large wave, then several more. The impact of the waves resulted in six passengers being shaken from their seats and suffering minor to moderate injuries.
Sgt. Jerry Callahan told us "We are very fortunate that none of the passengers were thrown out of the vessel. Especially since falls overboard are the most common fatality accident on a boat. Slow down and allow yourself plenty of time to reach your destination whether in a vehicle or by boat. You need to be ready to expect higher numbers of traffic on the water and road."
Troopers say the passengers were not seated properly.
They arrested Carterfor careless and imprudent driving. Online court records do not show any charges against him at this time.

Raising two kids cut into my golf time and I needed to play once a week just to keep my game under 60 for 9 holes :facepalm:
