not go nearly as well with pizza."

I ran a bar for 15+ years, we had over 100 in the bottle on 20 on tap.

Sam Adam's was a sponcer of our Comedy Night's, was always getting samples from them. They got me hooked on their Double Bock, Triple was too sweet.

Sam Smith's Winter Welcome was available to us around x-mas. We always had around 100 cases on hand, by far my fav!!!

Have you had Sam's Winter Dun?

Somewhere in Corn Country
Some great beers mentioned so far in this thread, I'll toss out a few of my favorites.

1) Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Newport, Oregon.
A truly great brewery that makes outstanding beers; hard to find many of their brews in the Midwest- thanks to Dirty John's Grocery in Iowa City, I can get my fix of Rogue beers when the mood strikes.

2) Moose Drool Brown Ale, Big Sky Brewing Co, Missoula, Montana.

Another tough one for us Midwesterners, but John's has it from time to time and my buddy knows to grab me a case if its available.

3) Hop Hearty I.P.A, New Glarus Brewing, New Glarus, Wisconsin.

Love my hops and this is the only beer I've drank yet that makes me pucker up on the 1st sip.

Only sold in Wisconsin, but New Glarus is a short 1 hour plus trip from here. Usually stop on my way home from visiting friends and family to get my fix of New Glarus beers.

Hey Doc, New Belgium Brewery made a big push into Iowa last fall so now Fat Tire, 1554 and Mothership Wit are widely available. 1st offered in the 22 oz bottles now Fat Tire is on tap all over the place...:SIB
