besides the obvious answer of the rockets, i'm partial to q 10 suited b/c I made a royal with it online and got a nice bonus

8-3 suited known as JS suited around these parts.

On reads, have pushed twice with 8-3 suited and both times the other player mucked. Won the online tourney this happened on and finished 4th in the live tourney the other time. If either had called - I probably would hate the hand

Outside of that - J-9 always looks pretty to me

2-7

That way, I know I'm not losing any money.

unless your in a blind...

we play cash games somenights.....if you have 2-7 and win the hand, everyone owes the pot 5 bucks for the winner....

so pretty much everytime you have seven/duece your atleast seeiin a flop and makin a stab at it

i was playing cash games in my day off at the WSOP. I had QQ, the flop comes rags the guy tells me he has his 2nd favorite hand as i ponder an all in call. He tells me he has his 2nd favorite hand! I call and the dickhead has Kings! :mj07: No shit it is your 2nd favorite hand.

Btw, it was a small pot for a few hundo, so it was a fairly easy call

I like that rule. May throw this out there at the next home game.
