There are loads of male announcer that are LIGHT YEARS worse than any female announcer.

Jim Nantz
John Madden
Clark Kellogg
Bill Walton
Chris Collinsworth

Just to name a few. I have never heard a female announcer that wasn't competent, whereas half the guys on the above list are borderline mentally challenged. Now, female sideline reporters, that is a whole other story.
