GT is beyond for real! I watched them against Clemson and UGA of late......they are very balanced on both sides of the ball.
AZ.......if they knock off Oregon again, what team can say they knocked off a team ranked #2 twice?!?! They would have a massive argument.....Utah and ASU all ranked wins too.

I have them #7 on my list actually no sure how I forgot to include them.....they have a massive resume and if they beat Oregon again, I don't see how they don't make it....

Miss St already lost today. Bama is losing going into the 2nd half. Ohio St wins but loses their 2nd QB of the year and already has the worst loss of any contender. FSU has to play a hot Ramblin' Wreck squad. Oregon still has to face the one team that already served them a shit sandwich and is now playing for a shot at the playoffs. If shit goes down, and it almost seems like it will, are we really going to see TCU and Baylor make it....won't seem right, but the committees hand could be forced.

So if Bama was to lose tonight and Kansas State wins in Waco (unlikely but possible), who is the 4th? Do they let Ohio State in knowing Barrett is out?
What about the Arizona-Oregon game? I feel like the winner of that one is in.The PAC 12 champ deserves a spot.
The SEC took a shit today, so their long standing claim to being the dominant conference is not holding up after the 0-4 showing today against the ACC. That said, one team from that conference NEEDS to be in....but who?
TCU should be a stone cold outlaw play lock.....but how do you leave out Baylor if Bama loses tonight and they beat KSU?
Ohio State is backing into the playoff, but you can't put them in with the worst loss of any contender and a 3rd string QB. That's like giving someone a fucking bye if they play them.

If Baylor, I think they will, beats KState I'm going to love it. I dislike both Baylor and TCU but I can't see how you have two teams that are going for the same spot and you keep the one that won the game between them out. IMO TCU is the better team but if the committee is not going to put head to head at the top of the list then I can see a ton of problems in the future.
The way I see it not enough teams get in!! Too many one lose teams that could get HOT in playoffs that might have a chance to win it all. Need 8 teams minimum, then you get a truer "playoff" system. If you went to a 16 team format then a Utah, Bosie & Marshall gets a shot. Just my opinion.:shrug:
Utah had a shot the last 4 years moving up in class.....they're 10-22 vs pac-10 teams (i dont count col as they are a big 12 team!)
I'm not really interested in seeing those smaller schools in a playoff unless they're undefeated, really special, and have played and beaten a mid level power 5 team in an ooc game
Going into Championship weekend, consider this.... here are the number of wins each team has against "bowl eligible" teams.
Alabama - 8
Ohio State - 8
FSU - 7
Oregon - 5
TCU - 5
Baylor - 3
If Ohio State beats Wisky, with their 3rd string QB, don't they deserve to be in the playoffs?

Arizona: 5 (6 if the beat ore again)
that will be better than BOTH big 12 teams......and the pac-12 is the better conference, by far, than the big 12.......how tcu and baylor would get in ahead of az would be beyond belief.
hopefully at the end of the day, it's settled on the field this weekend and there are 4 clear entries to the final 4 so there is no real head scratching.
A lot has to happen this weekend for a 2 loss team to get in the playoffs.
