Does any one have an suggestions on finding out if a company is incorporated here in the states? I went to D&B, but you need to search by state, and I dont' know what state they would be incorporated in. I checked Delaware, and it wasn't there, and I don't feel like checking all 50 states, any other suggestions?

Google search the name of the company-if they are indeed incorporated something should come up and you can find out what state from there.....each state has a search engine for DBA's and corporations.......

It's kind of a messed up story, our manufacturer in Germany had some people leave and start a new company competing with us, and we think they started a branch here in the US using part of our company's name to make it look like they are still affliated with us, which they are not, and we are trying to find out if they incorporated anywhere.

so have someone pose as a customer/investor to their business and find about exactly what they are doing ;)
