Trump didn't expect to win the presidency
Trump's "ultimate goal? had never been to win the Oval Office, Wolff said. But he was excited about the exposure and opportunities to develop his brand.

With encouragement from his longtime pal and former Fox News head Roger Ailes, Trump even flirted with the idea of starting his own television network.

?Once he lost, Trump would be both insanely famous and a martyr to Crooked Hillary. His daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared would be international celebrities. Steve Bannon would become the de facto head of the tea-party movement. Kellyanne Conway would be a cable-news star. Melania Trump, who had been assured by her husband that he wouldn't become president, could return to inconspicuously lunching,? Wolff said.

[h=2]The Constitution[/h]
?I got as far as the Fourth Amendment before his finger is pulling down on his lip and his eyes are rolling back in his head,? former aide Sam Nunberg told Wolff about the time he was sent to explain the Constitution to Trump early in the campaign.

[h=2]Inauguration[/h]
?Trump did not enjoy his own inauguration. He was angry that A-level stars had snubbed the event, disgruntled with the accommodations at Blair House, and visibly fighting with his wife, who seemed on the verge of tears,? Wolff wrote.

BANNON AND THE RUSSIA PROBE
President Trump?s former chief strategist, Steve Bannon, described a controversial meeting of Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort and a Russian lawyer as ?treasonous? and ?unpatriotic? to Wolff.

The former Breitbart head also told Wolff he expected investigators in the Russia probe to ?crack Don Jr. like an egg on national TV.?

Bannon also believed that Don Jr. had taken the Russian lawyer ? who was peddling dirt on Hillary Clinton ? up to the 26th floor of Trump Tower to meet his dad, Wolff wrote.

"Steve Bannon was certain that after the [July 2016 Trump Tower] meeting, Trump, Jr. had taken the participants to see his father,? Wolff said.

The president has said he was unaware any meeting with Russians took place.

[h=2]Doubtful aides[/h]
Top Trump staffers expressed their doubts about his intelligence with colorful adjectives, Wolff said.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson reportedly called Trump a ?moron? last year.

?For (Treasury Secretary) Steve Mnuchin and (former Trump White House chief of staff) Reince Priebus, the president was an ?idiot.? For (former Goldman Sachs exec) Gary Cohn, he was ?dumb as sh-t.? For (National Security Adviser) H.R. McMaster he was a ?dope.? The list went on,? Wolff said.

[h=2]Horrified allies[/h]
Wolff had a lot to say about the head of Trump?s National Economic Council and quoted from an email ?purporting to represent the views of Gary Cohn? that circulated in the White House in April.

?It?s worse than you can imagine. An idiot surrounded by clowns. Trump won't read anything ? not one-page memos, not the brief policy papers; nothing. He gets up halfway through meetings with world leaders because he is bored. And his staff is no better. Kushner is an entitled baby who knows nothing. Bannon is an arrogant p---k who thinks he?s smarter than he is. Trump is less a person than a collection of terrible traits ... I am in a constant state of terror and shock,? the email said, according to ?Fire and Fury.?

Even media mogul Rupert Murdoch, a Trump supporter, hung up the phone after a conversation with the president about H-1B visas for select immigrants and said, ?What a f---ing idiot,? Wolff wrote.

JOHN BOEHNER
Ailes, who often whispered advice in Trump's ear, encouraged him to pick a ?son of a b---h as? his chief of staff, offering former Speaker of the House John Boehner as a suggestion.

Trump reportedly responded: "Who's that?"

FEARS AND TEARS: Everyone in the Trump family, including Donald Trump himself, was shocked that he won on Election Night.
Wolff wrote that Melania was terrified Trump could win. Trump offered his wife a solemn guarantee: There was simply no way he would prevail, according to the book. But on Election Night, after it became clear Trump would be the victor, Melania was in tears ? but not tears of joy, Wolff wrote.

WHO GIVES HIM ADVICE: When Trump was confronted by Joe Scarborough of MSNBC'S "Morning Joe" about whom he consults with, the new president was frank.
"You won?t like the answer, but the answer is me," Trump responded, according to the book. "I talk to myself."

FLYNN WAS WARNED: Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, a target of the Russia probe who last month pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI, was warned about accepting money from Russia for a December 2015 speech in Moscow.
According to Wolff, Flynn was informed that it had not been a good idea to take a $45,000 speaking fee from the Russians. Flynn responded that "it would only be a problem if we won," Wolff wrote.

THE OBAMAS WERE "VERY ARROGANT": Trump didn?t like how Barack and Michelle Obama acted during the pre-inauguration meeting between the outgoing and incoming first couples.
Trump believed that the Obamas acted "disdainfully ? 'very arrogant' ? toward him and Melania," according to the book.

"TAKE A SHOWER, STEVE": Trump was never shy about insulting Bannon, his chief White House strategist.
"Guy looks homeless. Take a shower, Steve. You've worn those pants for six days," Trump said at one point, according to Wolff.
JARED AND IVANKA WANTED COMEY OUT: Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump were convinced that the FBI Director might go after the Kushner family's real estate dealings and encouraged the president to fire him.

The book says that Comey became the focus of Trump family discussions and they feared he would rise by damaging them.
TRUMP THOUGHT FIRING COMEY WAS HEROIC: Trump was initially pleased with his decision in May to fire Comey ? even though it quickly led to the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel in the federal Russia probe.
The president thought that ousting Comey would show he could stand up to the FBI, Wolff wrote.
TRUMP WANTED TO ATTEND THE WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS DINNER: Trump skipped the annual celebration amid a very public feud with the media. But Wolff writes that Trump actually wanted to participate and sought from aides the latest news from the celebration as it was occurring, asking for updates on the jokes.

EVERYONE HATES EVERYONE, BASICALLY: Wolff paints a clear picture that alliances inside the White House are scarce and venom is omnipresent. Chief of Staff John Kelly doesn't like Trump's family, he writes; Gary Cohn has contempt for Kushner, and Trump himself even has wondered at times when Kushner and Ivanka might quit.
"Kelly's long-suffering antipathy toward the president was rivaled only by his scorn for the president?s family," Wolff wrote.

Everyone who has ever known him from the ghost writer of his book to all of his handlers and aides to close friends have called him what he is, an idiot. Those that have profited from him have used him as a useful idiot. The only people who don?t understand this are Donald and the band of idiots who voted for him and aren?t oligarchs.

I find it funny as hell, yet sad at the same time.

Trump literally reminds me of a guy who wins a contest to be coach for a day.

He never expected to get nominated by his party, and sure as he'll never thought he would be President. Now, he'll just fuck off until someone takes the keys from him.
