sorry for any of the confusion or fuss
i ain't going anywhere. i like this place too much. please don't respond as hopefully this thread can get buried. i don't like to be the center of attention. i leave that to the little people.
re-read my post from the other night. more of frustration that knowledgeable people say stupid things. this is a handicapping board and everyone has their fun things to say, me more than others i suppose, but i guess it rubbed me the wrong way when someone says someone else is garbage. its like hearing bad beat stories. i've heard a million, will hear a million more, and can't stand any of them. if you lose a game you lose a game. saying someone sux just because you lost a bet and the person obviously doesn't is silly.
i don't know why it rubbed me the wrong way, but it did. i've met a lot of good people here and hope to continue to do so. i've never once posted on another sports board, although do know of their existence and pop in from time to time to read mostly their general discussion areas for good laughs when no one here has come up with anything funny for a while.
i can assure you that i'm not thin skinned. i guess it just seems that way on an internet board. i grew up not poor, but not well off and have had my ass handed to me a number of times as well as handing it out a bunch of times. unfortunately the former probably outnumbers the latter. i worked my up to be educated. i just can't tolerate sincere stupidity. its okay to joke around. everyone does. like i said you can't really fight on an internet board. would rather kick ass in the real world or take what's coming to me. doesn't matter.
kosar- man, not sure what i ever did to offend you. i always thought we got along. you are jacks prodigal son so i'll let sleeping dogs lie. i was just under the impression we got along. guess not.
but i will spell this out for you:
ALL I EVER DID WITH THE REPUTATION POINTS IS ASK A QUESTION THAT HOW HARD IT WOULD BE TO ADD A FEATURE THAT LETS YOU KNOW WHO SENT IT. THATS IT NOTHING MORE.
kinda like so you could know who wrote what. for example if you asked a question in general discussion, before today, i might have gone out of my way to help you out. but had you been someone who wrote ****s his mom in the ass in the private message thing, i would have not wasted my time.
handicapping aside, i think i've tried to help a lot of people out here with random thoughts or not. i have zero idea if i've posted more winners than losers here. i can assure you that i've won in the timeframe i've been here and i make a living at poker and sports. not many can say that. sometimes you just get flustered at others and say stupid things.
the people i do like at mjs are great. might meet them someday, might not. but again, its just an anonymous message board and all we have is our word. i guess thats what one is ultimately judged on.
i guess the good thing is in this whole mess which i just stumbled upon is that you find out where you stand with some people. like i didn't know where i stood with the prodigal son, but i'll leave that alone. kinda blindsided there.
i'm still gonna post and i guess attempt to be less thin skinned with the people i don't understand. i just like this place too much.
let this thread die into oblivion please, just thought i would say that much and see if i can find a winner somewhere in the association.
