Just plain looking at the fact that we would need a couple long drives, or a deep turnover, a couple drives ending in FG attemps, and the over becomes pretty hard to meet.

Sure, it could go over.....that's the gamble! But what is that? 8+ tds? Two per qtr, and change? That's a ton in the NFL, and we all know in this game, the "expected" is rare! People expect a shootout, and that don't make it neccessary.
