First Post - some background about me

Thanks MJ for finally allowing me to register. I have been wanting to be a part of this forum for awhile now but for some reason was unable to register for some time. Just a little background about myself...used to post at another site, but got sick of all the losers over there, had compiled a decent record over 65% for the NBA and I will gladly erase that and get a fresh start as we close the season out. In fact, would like to start fresh b/c I want to add units to my plays and this is a great place to start.

I make quarter, half, and 2nd half plays primarily, and I only play games that involve the following teams:

Boston
Charlotte
Dallas
Detroit
Milwaukee
Minnesota
Portland
Sacramento

It helps to have an account with Olympic if you want to keep on track with my QTR plays, love em.

Teams listed above are the teams I have currently researched heavily and believe to have an upper hand with. I could add one or two more before the regular season ends, but at this point, not worth the time it takes.


I notice there are lots of Austin, TX, residents here, including the man himself, Roger, and that is awesome...current UT student here myself, Hook 'em! Huge Georgia Tech fan by blood (dad went there), so you will see lots of GT action during NCAA season.

I have one friend on this forum (TJBELL), so hopefully he can vouch for my NBA knowledge and we can get off to a good start.

I do not know freeze, but I do know that many Longhorns post here...have always wanted to talk to them, but was just now able to get aboard. NOTE: I know some people may have a problem with me posting 3rd and 4th Qtr plays before gametime...but I only post plays that I really like, so stick in there with me. If at halftime I am presented a better line, then it gives me an opportunity to double up. If I get a worse line at half, then I ride my pre-game bets out.

For anyone interested, may want to get on the Boston overnight line at -7.5 vs Miami tomorrow. Mourning just left the Houston game early with some elbow injury. Look for this game to go OTB in a few minutes.

there are a bunch of fellow UT people here for you though so you will outnumber me when Fall rolls around.....

(actually i just go to UT med school in Houston though -- am a Baylor grad but like most of them share a limited rooting interest in the Bears)

I think we would get along very well...not a big UT fan myself...I am known for antagonizing them as well, but not an OU fan either. I like TJ Ford and Vincent Young, other than that, the teams are not my favorite.
