No way this is the real moneymaker.

I would have to say that if this Moneymaker took Madjack up on the offer and then lost the poker hand.

Madjack tells someone that he just beat the WSOP champion Chris Moneymaker. So then the real Chris moneymaker finds out and he sues madjack. And here is the funny part

Madjack turns around and sues the fake out of the fake moneymaker posting on the site. A fraud may be perpetuating here.

Not to mention severe penalities and fines for
impersonating a moneymaker.

How about a multi-table tourney on Party (or Poker stars) for posters with more than 443 posts, with a say $50 buy in, the prize being to play Chris heads up for the $1000...the buy-ins may well cover the stake

There'd be some excellent publicity

There are a few ways to prove who the real moneymaker is.

1.) Ask questions (which alot of people might know anyway)

2.) Check the e-mail each account is registered too.

I have given out my email address several times while playing on pokerstars so it is feasible someone knows it. Since passwords are changed/reset using your e-mail address as identification I would assume that there can only be one name on this site with my email address.

I assume this is how madjack confirmed this was actually me. Anyway, MJ i will email you and set something up for the match.
