Chris:

I hope you get this message. I considered calling you on the cell, but I prefer to do this publicly so there will be no question as to your identity.

Finding out WHO is the real Chris Moneymaker is easy.

A few months ago -- Chris Moneymaker came into the Horseshoe in Las Vegas. We had dinner together beforehand and Chris was invited, and accepted, an invitation to play in a series of head-up $10K freezeouts with the owner of the Horseshoe. There was another player that was involved, as well.

Pray tell Chris -- inform us of what happened that night. It's a great story and the REAl Chris Moneymaker will know it.

The 2nd Money is definitely Money. I'm sure everyone can figure that out by now especially with Jack saying it is so. Also Mr. Money was nice enough to make a call for me to verify if this is Chris and indeed it is. So thanks Mr. M for clearing it up for me.

I look forward to hearing Nolan's question answered.

I also look forward to the one-on-one match.

Hi Nolan, good to hear from you. Give me a call when you get a chance next week after Wed. I need to ask you a few questions.

Thanks,

Was gonna give my counterpart first crack at this, however, since I am leaving town tommorrow I will go ahead and throw it out there.

Dont want to go into $$ amounts but the dinner was with my wife, Dan Goldman, Nolan Dalla, and Tom McEVoy.

The match Nolan is reffering to occured that evening at the Horseshoe. Initially it was Nick Benion and I. Then Sam Grizzle and I played a few. I ended the night/morning playing triple draw low ball against Benny Benion. We finished around 10 am, and I was late getting over to the Orleans tournament.

Hi Chris -

Just wanted to let you know that the way you played Sam Farha in those final rounds of the tournament was great. I loved watching you bluff in the WSOP as well. You were not at all nervous nor showed any emotion. Great poker playing!!! I was pulling for you when I was watching it.

Mr. Moneymaker, Sir

Mr. Moneymaker, Sir

Just wanted to say how addicted we all were down here in MS to the WSOP because of your ballsy plays and no BS demeanor. You're a Badass! You're welcome to come down to the Beau Rivage in Gulfport and show us how its done anytime!!!!!

Talking about the guy who bluffed Farha with rags -- whoever he is around here -- God, the intensity at that table after that play and before Sammy mucked was just UNBELIEVABLE....great, great drama.

The longer I am on this forum the more amazed at all the colorful people that come and go on this site. It has brought alot of enjoyment to my life. I was watching the Poker tourney on ESPN a back while I was researching some games on madjacks when I became more interested in the poker game I was watching so much so that I got my wife and had her watching it. What a story!
Chris what you did are what dreams are made of. I keep telling my wife I am going to make alot of money one day gambling. Maybe she will believe me now! Thanks all.:D
