I can confirm from THE MONEY MAN's post, that he is indeed the real Chris Moneymaker.

What a pleasure and honor to have a gentleman of Mr. Moneymaker's caliber at the MadJacks site. Aside from being a very under-rated (judging by some of the insane comments made about his unorthodix style) and well deserving champion, Moneymaker is one of the classiest people ever to hold the title of "world champion."

I look forward to the soon-to-be announced match between Mr. Moneymaker, and out own -- Mad Jack himself.

Anyone want to post odds on the match?

Come on Nollan, your the poker guy, you post the odds, you should know better than anyone.

I have seen Jack play on-line a bit and I have seen the WSOP replays at least 6 times so I will take a shot at the prices here, no offense Jack, but he is the Champ and to be the man, you gotta beat the man (in this case the Money Man)

Chris Moneymaker -240
Mad Jack (Jenau) +180

Very much awaiting this match up.

gotta take the dog with those odds- anyone can pull a hand outta their ass in No-Limit and take their opponent down, plus you can't read your opponent online that well, compared to a live game

Nolan,

agree that Chris is a deserving and classy champion and great to have him here.

It's funny, though...poker is about the only game where being underrated is actually to your advantage. I wouldn't imagine too many golf pros would stake $20 or $30 000 of their own money to play Tiger Woods head to head, but being a newcomer champion and underrated I'm sure there was the odd poker pro willing to ante up in a match.

Cheers
